Tänään vietetään perinteistä Bungie-päivää ja sen kunniaksi Bungie on jakanut Destinystä lisää informaatiota. Destinystä on tarjolla normipaketin lisäksi kolme erikoisversiota: Limited Edition, Ghost Edition ja Digital Guardian Edition. Kattavin paketeista on Ghost edition, joka sisältää kaiken muun sälän lisäksi Destinyyn vahvasti liittyvän Ghost-replikan. Digital Edition on köykäisin paketti ja se sisältää vain kaiken DLC:n mitä erikoisversioissa on digitaalisena tarjolla.Bungie julkaisi myös lisätietoja Destinyn Betasta. Beta alkaa 17. heinäkuuta Destinyn Playstation-version ennakkotilanneille. 21. ja 22. päivä tehdään Destinyn beta-servereille huoltoa ja tämän jälkeen myös Xbox-version ennakkotilanneet pääsevät mukaan. Lopullinen rypistys suoritetaan 26. heinäkuuta, jolloin Bungie toivoo kaikkien betaan osallistuneiden pelaavan peliä.
