You can choose the robot you want to play with and then you have to wait until the other is ready to play. The co-up will have a whole new campaing and Valve is working to take steamworks into PS3. This means that you'll be able to play from a computer with someone playing in the PS3. Portal 2 will arrive April 2011 on PC, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Mac. The PS3 version was announced at Sony's press conference at E3 2010 (Valve has traditionally been averse to PS3 development). PS3 will support Steamworks so it will be updated in PS3 as well.
